TeacHaiti had a Christmas party for our children and it was truly a blessing to me and to them. The children were so happy. Many of them receieved a Christmas gift for the very first time.
I grew up in a small town by the name of St Michel de L'attalaye. I moved to Port au Prince to join the rest of my family in 1994, then moved to MN to pursue my education in 2000. I graduated from Oak Grove Lutheran School in Fargo, ND in 2002 then Concordia College in 2006 with a Bachelor's in nursing. I lived and worked as a registered Nurse at St Mary's Regional Health Center in Detroit Lakes MN for about a year then moved back to Haiti in 2007. I am the founder of TeacHaiti, which is a fund that gives educational scholarships to needy children to go to school in Haiti. TeacHaiti is in its second year but we have over trippled the number of children going to school, what a blessing! Education is truly my passion. It is the best gift there is. What a blessing to be able to read God's words among other previleges that educaiton enables one to enjoy! Currently, I live and work in Port au Prince as a school nurse which I enjoy a great deal. God has been so good to me and I know I do not deserve His grace. I love the Lord and I live to honor HIM in all that I do.
